First Light (2017)

The observation for 'Sparrow's Rest' was an open-sided shed behind Bellamy's Mill, a working 1860 flour mill in Upper Canada Village, at Morrisburg, Ontario. The historic setting of early settlers and the presence of house sparrows seemed especially appropriate, reflecting both human and avian immigrants.
