Dean Richards Part of Art of the Animal Kingdom VII

Art of the Animal Kingdom VII has quickly established
itself as a premier international exhibit for animal artists. Dean Richards,
a member of the World Wide Nature Artists Group has been selected from an
unprecedented number of submissions to be part of this years show and sale.
His selected charcoal and graphite drawing entitled " Great Pied Hornbills "
is a fine example of his exotic bird portraiture. The piece focuses on
composition, texture and light to breath life into the regal pose of these
magnificent birds.

Patti Wilson and Maria Ryan in New Book on Wildelife Art

Two WWNAG artists are featured in a new book "Wildelife Art: 60 Contemporary Masters and Their Work" by Joan M Pursley.
Patti Wilson ( ) and Maria Ryan ( ) are included in the book.

The book features over 150 color photos of artwork in various media with an introduction to the history and current state of wildlife art. The book has received very positive reviews including one in Inform Art Magazine.

Besse and Kitler chosen for Birds in Art National Tour

David Kitler and Linda Besse, both members of the World Wide Nature Artists' Group, have the added honor of having work selected for The Birds in Art National Tour. David's "Brazilian Blue & Gold" and Linda Besse's "Among Giants" will tour various prestigious venues among a total of 60 works of art. In its 26th year, Birds in Art is one of the most prestigious show in the world for bird art.

WWNA Group member has recently completed and published a new calendar featuring six gamefish including Rainbow trout, Cutthroat, Brook trout, and Lake trout as well as the Coho and Chinook salmon.

Joan Sharrock's tigers featured in the Exxon calendar

The 2002 Exxon calendar features images of tigers supplied by Vancouver artist Joan Sharrock who specializes in paintings of big cats. This is the third calendar for Exxon featuring Joan's artwork. Previously the calendar, produced by Teldon Calendars, was made up of tiger photographs. A fortuitous connection in 1998 brought Joan's artwork to the calendar company's attention and her many tiger paintings were sufficient for the 1999 and 2001 calendars.
