The AFC Festival informs and inspires the public to conserve our natural heritage through visual arts, lectures, films & workshops.  Since 2011, the Festival has toured internationally.

AFC has supported over 15 Flag Expeditions since 2005. Fostering collaborative art and science field work to study and promote the preservation of endangered species and their vanishing habitats. 

AFC connects youth with nature thorough art and environmental education. In 2018, AFC launched the first virtual youth education program with schools. The youth "Silent Skies" mural project. Over 1600 youth from across B.C. participated.

AFC's annual exhibit is the world's premiere conservation-themed juried exhibit in the world today. International artists participate and raise funds for conservation. The international exhibit tours to world class venues. Join us this fall 2020 Vancouver.

AFC's "Silent Skies Mural" tour at Arizona-Sonora Desert Musem. Open May 25th to Sept 29th, 2019. The mural features 678 endangered bird species by 160 AFC artists. The original was unveiled at AFC's 2018 Festival.

AFC Safari Benefit Set for 2020
2019/10/24 - Join two internationally renowned artists, Gregory Wellman and Karen Laurence-Rowe in November 2020 on a safari expedition catering to artists, photographers and conservationists. This safari will support two conservation organizations - Artists for Conservation and Soysambu Conservancy.

2019/10/21 - Vancouver, BC., Canada - Oct 21, 2019 - Artists for Conservation (AFC) is excited to announce the establishment of a recurring bi-annual exhibit and art event with the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum during the last weekend of January. The first event will run from January 24-26, 2019 and will feature AFC's annual exhibit along with various related conservation and art planning.
Priscilla Baldwin to Receive 2019 Simon Combes Conservation Award

This year, AFC is proud to recognize Priscilla's vision, commitment and achievements with the Simon Combes Conservation Artist Award - AFC's highest honor.
Silent Skies Mural to be Centerpiece of New City-wide Earth Day Celebration
2019/10/17 - Vancouver, BC., Canada - Oct 18, 2019 - Artists for Conservation (AFC) is thrilled to announce the latest host city of its Silent Skies Mural - St. Louis, Missouri. The 100-foot mural will be on exhibit in April 2020 for three of the city's top cultural attractions - The St. Louis Zoo as well as the Missouri Botanical Gardens and the iconic St. Louis Arch Museum.

Michael Pape Raises $50K for Endangered Species Fund of Canada
2019/10/12 - Congratulations to Michael Pape for raising over $50,000.00 to benefit the registered charity Endangered Species Fund of Canada (ESFC), through his exclusive limited edition fine art reproductions and the ESFC Sealed Bid Auction Fundraising Program. 100% of the funds raised goes to help animals, as well support ESFC environmental and wildlife conservation initiatives. Each time a Michael Pape original painting or limited edition fine art reproduction is acquired, purchasers are collaborating in a greater mission to be a voice for animals that don't have a voice of their own.

2019/10/05 - Vancouver, BC, Canada - October 4th, 2019 - Artists for Conservation (AFC) is pleased to announce the forthcoming return of its annual exhibit at Lanwan Art Museum in Qingdao, China.  The exhibit will feature a combination of over 70 original artworks and limited edition giclee canvas reproductions by 60 Signature Members of AFC. The exhibit will also feature an installation of AFC's collaborative Silent Skies Mural.

Safari Supports AFC and Soysambu Boma Project
2019/07/21 - AFC artist and 2018 recipient of the Simon Combes Award (AFC's highest honor), Guy Combes is leading an art safari in Kenya now, with several Artists for Conservation members and supporters in-tow. Jackson's African Safaris (Timothy Jackson) organized the expedition to raise funds and support for AFC, the Soysambu Conservancy's Boma Project and a new film about the lions of Soysambu.

AFC Mourns the Loss of Terry Isaac
2019/07/19 - It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Terry Isaac, our dear friend, Master Wildlife Artist, instructor, and talented musician. Terry passed away suddenly on July 16th. As many of you know, Terry Isaac has been renowned wildlife artist since a very young age. He developed a large international following in the 1980s and has part of the AFC community for nearly two decades. During that time he advanced the genera of Wildlife Art internationally as a popular instructor through his workshops and publications.
