The AFC Festival informs and inspires the public to conserve our natural heritage through visual arts, lectures, films & workshops.  Since 2011, the Festival has toured internationally.

AFC has supported over 15 Flag Expeditions since 2005. Fostering collaborative art and science field work to study and promote the preservation of endangered species and their vanishing habitats. 

AFC connects youth with nature thorough art and environmental education. In 2018, AFC launched the first virtual youth education program with schools. The youth "Silent Skies" mural project. Over 1600 youth from across B.C. participated.

AFC's annual exhibit is the world's premiere conservation-themed juried exhibit in the world today. International artists participate and raise funds for conservation. The international exhibit tours to world class venues. Join us this fall 2020 Vancouver.

Musical Launch to AFC's 2020 Virtual Exhibit
2020/10/03 - Vancouver, British Columbia – (Oct 3, 2020) -  Artists for Conservation (AFC) is excited to announce the launch of the 2020 Virtual Exhibit on its online gallery, showcasing original paintings and sculptures for sale in support of conservation, from its latest annual exhibit. The unveiling coincides with the 10th annual Artists for Conservation Festival, running October 1-4 at the VanDusen Botanical Garden in Vancouver, Canada. 
AFC to Recognize Anne London with Top Conservation Award
2020/09/08 - Vancouver, BC CANADA – Sept 8, 2020 - In 2020, internationally acclaimed American artist, Anne London will be recognized for her conservation leadership and artistic achievement with Artists for Conservation’s (AFC's) top honor: the Simon Combes Conservation Artist Award. AFC bestows the award annually to individuals for exemplifying the achievements and dedication of the award's namesake.

AFC 2021 Calendar Art Announced
2020/07/29 - Vancouver, BC CANADA - July 29, 2020 - Artists for Conservation is pleased to announce that Signature AFC Member, and Italian artist, Marco Grasso's painting "Thanatos" depicting a Barn Owl, has been selected for the cover of the 2021 AFC Environmental Calendar. In addition to highlighting statutory and religious holidays, the calendar also uniquely highlights a wide range of international environmental-themed days and weeks. The annual calendar is published on sustainably forested paper, as a companion to the 13th annual AFC Exhibit, showing in Vancouver, BC October 1-4.

The annual hardcover "coffee-table" book is published on sustainably forested paper, as a companion to the 12th annual AFC Exhibit, showing in Vancouver, BC October 1-4.

2020/07/01 - AFC Signature Member Bruce Lawes, has been winning top awards for his hyper-realistic wildlife paintings for years now. Included in those honors has been several AFC Medals of Excellence and a Best-in-Show.

AFC Establishes New Anchor Event in Arizona
2019/10/21 - Vancouver, BC., Canada - Oct 21, 2019 - Artists for Conservation (AFC) is excited to announce the establishment of a recurring bi-annual exhibit and art event with the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum during the last weekend of January. The first event will run from January 24-26, 2019 and will feature AFC's annual exhibit along with various related conservation and art planning.
